Please read the following terms carefully before using our services.

1. Our Sales Process (Paddle Notice)

For your security, the order process is managed by our authorized reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles customer service inquiries related to payments and tax refunds. Your personal data will be shared with Paddle to process payment and for tax compliance according to their Privacy Policy.

2. Pre-Validation and Regeneration Guarantee

To ensure your satisfaction, you can review and approve the character likeness and story text before making payment.

Once payment is made, the system grants you one (1) additional opportunity to regenerate the content if you wish.

By confirming the "I love it, send it to me" button, you give your final approval and the product is considered delivered and accepted.

3. Digital and Physical Product Delivery

Delivery formats by product:

  • • Quick Stories ($25): Digital PDF + Printable PDF (12 pages to print at home or local print shop)
  • • Personalized Books ($45): Digital PDF + Printed physical book (hardcover, A4, global shipping)
  • • Real Stories ($65): Digital PDF + Printed physical book (hardcover, A4, global shipping)

After successful payment, you will receive an immediate download link on screen and a copy to your email.

Printed books: Printing is done through Lulu (global print partner). Estimated delivery time: 10-15 business days depending on location.

Technical guarantee: If an error occurs during generation after payment, our system will automatically send a recovery link to your email so you can access your story at no additional cost.

4. Consent, Use of Photographs and Privacy Policy

By uploading photographs, you authorize Magic Memories Books to process said images using Artificial Intelligence exclusively to create the illustrations. You declare that you have the legal rights to the uploaded images (including pets or real people).

🔒 Automatic Data Deletion:

  • • Photographs and personal data: Permanently deleted from our servers within a maximum of 24 hours after order completion.
  • • Print files (Lulu): Files sent to our print partner are deleted within a maximum of 48 hours to allow resolution of any technical issues in the shipping process.

Digital Files: Generated PDF files (containing only artistic illustrations, not original photographs) are kept on our servers to allow you permanent access through your personal reading link.

5. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the generated stories for personal use. Magic Memories Books will not use images of minors or your personalized characters for promotional purposes without prior, explicit, and written consent.

6. Refund Policy

Pre-payment validation:

  • • Full reading of the story text
  • • Viewing of all illustrations (with protective watermark)
  • • Preview of character portraits (Real Stories)

Since you can review and approve all content before payment, refunds are not offered once payment is processed and final generation has begun.

In case of persistent technical failures that prevent delivery, a full refund will be issued through Paddle.

7. Use of AI Technology

This service uses advanced AI models (such as GPT-4 and FLUX). You accept that the artistic style and narrative are AI interpretations based on your personalization instructions.

Illustration variations: AI-generated images may present slight variations between illustrations of characters, such as in hair shape or clothing. This is inherent to AI image generation technology.
